A Novel Study for Teens (Ages 13–17)

Get ready to read, debate, create, and sip tea like literary legends!

In this two-month book club adventure, teens will dive into powerful novels, tackle big ideas, and connect over unforgettable characters and plot twists. We’re kicking things off with The Outsiders—because nothing says “classic teen drama” like greasers, sunsets, and staying gold.

But here’s the twist: YOU get to help pick the second book. That’s right—book #2 will be decided by a group vote!

Each week, we'll explore a new part of the novel through discussion, creative activities, and maybe even a little friendly debate. Think hands-on projects, themed games, and some off-the-page thinking. 

And when we finish a book? It’s not just the end—it’s a Literary Tea Time celebration! Costumes? Maybe. Snacks? Definitely. Deep thoughts served with cookies? Absolutely.

Teens should plan to read a section of the book between meetings so they can jump into the conversation (and maybe drop some hot takes). No spoilers… unless you want to start a debate.
